Here within the Imps in the Community at Lincoln City FC we have been working with the Down’s Syndrome Association through DSActive to deliver a football club.
This football club has been running for 4 years and continues to provide an opportunity to play football. I know that over the years many of you have been but we hope our new sessions will see you return and engage in some more sporting activities.
From Saturday 5th November 2016, we will be moving into an indoor venue at Lincoln Christ Hospital School where we will be providing two different sessions to provide some choice with Lincoln City FC.
At 10:00am we will be delivering a 1 hour multi-sport session where we plan to rotate sports across the year in order for participants to have a go at different sports. Depending on the success of each sport, we will look at expanding in the future if the demand is high.
From 11:00am we will deliver a football specific session so we can continue training our squad and also provide a warm, dry space for others to engage who do not want to play competitively.
The cost of each session is £4.00 however if people want to attend both sessions then it will cost £6.00. We hope that these sessions turn out to be popular and we can try and grow what is on offer and look at how we link in with other sports.
