The Boston group had a successful launch, including local press coverage
We have recently been looking to organise more sessions where we all meet up and have a good chat.
‘Stay & Play’ is our way of providing opportunities around Lincolnshire to meet others in our support group and have fun!
Our very first stay & play session was at Belton House in Grantham on October 1st.
The weather wasn’t brilliant but it didn’t stop us enjoying a train ride, a picnic and lots of playing!
Our second meet was at Boston Bowl/Playtowers on November 19th . Some chose to take part in bowling whilst others preferred the soft play area. We all ate lunch together afterwards in the American diner.
Our third meet during the Easter holidays in April was at Tattershall Farm Park. We had some different members from our group come to join us and we had an exclusive handling session put on for us. Tattershall is a perfect venue come rain or shine, and includes a soft play area & bouncy castle, toddler play room, giant sand pit and an outdoor play area. Not forgetting about the delicious food!
Its that time of year again when were making final preparations for our charity fundraising ball.
Once again we will be returning to The Bentley Hotel in Lincoln on Saturday 14th October 2017.
As ever there will be a whole hosts of events throughout the evening, to raise funds and awareness.
A delicious 3 course meal will served from 7:30pm, and our entertainment on the night will be provided by The Wrecks.
At only £40 per person it promises to be a fantastic night.

The LDSSG Committee would like to congratulate one of our members, Danielle Booth, on successfully completing the annual Lincoln 10km race in April 2017.
Not only did she complete it in an impressive time of 1 hour, 19 minutes and 18 seconds, she also raised a total if £746 for the group via her efforts!
This is a fantastic achievement by Danielle, and shows what hard work and determination can achieve.
Well done Danielle…keep on running

LDSSG would like to thank all the little ducklings from the Puddle Ducks Lincolnshire & Newark groups that helped raise over £1200 for our group in their pyjama week in November.
The money will be used to benefit our members in a variety of ways and its hugely appreciated.
Our treasurer Simon Linforth was lucky enough to meet with some of the swimmers recently so they could handover the cheque.
Thank you all!
LDSSG are proud to announce that Puddle Ducks have chosen us as their nominated charity this term.
With fantastic support from their little swimmers and their families they hope to raise funds that will be used to benefit our members.
